Sporting Clays: Big Shot Tournament

A super fun hands-on charity event. 

Enjoy the kind of heart-pounding excitement you can only feel on a shooting range. Each person will shoot up to 100 rounds while competing for the title of "best shooter."

Location: Triple B Clays 831 N. Rosemead Blvd in South El Monte where Rosemead (Lakewood Blvd) meets the Pomona 60 fwy.

What is it?

Sporting clays are orange discs propelled by mechanical throwers. The tournament is a competition between teams of four shooters. Teams walk from station to station where participants take aim at clay targets flying in various patterns.

What do I need?

  • Three friends
  • Closed-toed shoes
  • Desire to have a ton of fun
  • Signed waiver

What's provided?

  • 100 rounds of ammo, 100 targets, safety glasses, and ear plugs are provided for each participant.
  • Shotguns may be rented if not included in your package.
  • Lunch & drinks
  • Player package: swag bag

Who can come?

  • First time shooters and avid shooters alike
  • Friends, family, co-workers, vendors, clients
  • Youth ok, age 12+, securely hold shotgun

Why participate?

  • Help raise money for Scouting programs in your community
  • Make a difference in the lives of youth, while having fun!
  • Many organizations work with youth, but Scouting is unique in the way it produces leaders out of meaningful outdoor experiences, personal achievement, and service to the community.

  • 8am: Check-in
